Agency Representation

Membership to VASA is open to all administrative support staff employed under the umbrella of Public Safety within the Commonwealth of Virginia, which include the following agencies:

Alcohol Beverage Control	Department of Forensic Science
Commonwealth Attorney's Services Council	Department of Juvenile Justice
Department of Corrections	Department of Military Affairs
Department of Correctional Education	Department of State Police
Department of Criminal Justice Services	Department of Veterans Services
Department of Emergency Management	Governor's Office for Substance Abuse Prevention
Department of Fire Programs	Virginia Parole Board

Membership Information

VASA offers three types of memberships:

Professional - Open to all administrative support staff employed by those agencies under the Secretary of Public Safety relating to criminal justice.
Associate - All persons concerned with and interested in the future course of the administrative support staff of the Commonwealth of Virginia.
Retired Professional - All professional members upon their retirement from service.

Membership dues are due and payable May 1st of each year and run through April 30th of the following year. New members received after March 1st will be credited for the remaining membership year. Fees are as follows:

Professional New Member (Includes Lapel Pin):	$25.00
Professional Renewal:	$20.00
Associate Renewal:	$10.00
Retired Professional:	Exempt
